Uma wrote on her Facebook that on the evening of May 13, when she was going to meet her friend from Outrame to meet her friend, a person suddenly sat down in front of her seat. Uma noticed that the person sitting in front is taking his phone away and holding his hand at much higher altitude. On suspicion, he looked at the mirror behind the person, then seeing carefully he realized that he was making his video.

    Uma wrote that for proof they also started making video of their phone with their phone, after which they informed the metro administration. Uma wrote that within a few minutes of making her complaint, employees of the Singapore Police and MRT Metro Station helped her.

The police has registered a case under harassment prevention law and investigation of the case is underway. Uma claimed that similar videos and similar videos were found in the person’s mobile phone. If Uma’s claim is found to be true, then according to the law of Singapore, that person may be incarcerated for a maximum of one year in order to insult the woman or attempt it.
