Bihar Topper scam:Supreme Court canceled the order of the Patna High Court

    New Delhi: The main accused of the Bihar Topper scam, Bacha Roy will remain in jail for the time being. The Supreme Court canceled the order of the Patna High Court on Thursday to give  bacha Rai bail. Child Rai has been in jail since June last year. The child was the principal of Rai Vaishali’s Bishundev Roy College. Four students of this college topped the Bihar Board Examinations. Later, in the same case, the scandal was exposed and many others including child opinion were arrested. Patna High Court gave bail to Bacha Roy on 14th February this year. With the bail, the High Court held that the accused will be released after the charges are fixed in one month in the case. But in the meanwhile, the Bihar government challenged Rai’s bail in the Supreme Court, and the Supreme Court had on March 6 granted an interim stay on the release of Kachcha Rai. Because of this, the opinion was in jail even after getting bail. On Thursday, a bench of Justice NV Ramana and Justice PC Pant, while accepting the petition of the Bihar government, canceled the order of the Patna High Court to grant bail to Bacha Rai. Malala Dixit, the main accused of the Delhi-based Top 10 Bihar Topper scam, is currently in jail. Will remain.
