IPL season 10, 23rd match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Gujarat Lions, is being played at KKR’s homegrown Eden Garden.
The team of Kolkata Knight Riders has given target of 188 runs to win the Gujarat Lions. While batting first, losing the toss, the Kolkata team scored 187/5 in 20 overs. For Team Robin Uthappa scored 72 and Sunil Narine scored 42.
In reply to the big target, Aaron Finch and Brendon McCullum gave a tremendous start to Gujarat. Both of them added 40 runs in three overs.Gujarat scored 42 runs for the first wicket, 31 runs for the second wicket and 34 runs for the fourth wicket. On one side wickets were falling, but captain on the other hand Suresh Raina’s fast batting was going on. Raina added 58 runs in 31 balls with Ravindra Jadeja for the sixth wicket and decided to win the team. For Kolkata, Kulter Nile and Kuldeep Yadav took 2-2 wickets while Chris Woakes and Umesh Yadav got 1-1. Suresh Raina was adjudged Man of the Match for his 84 runs innings. After this victory, the team of Gujarat got two points, although he is still at number seven.
