Rajya Sabha elections: Congress demand, cancellation of votes of two legislators who vote for cross voting

The Congress has alleged that both the MLAs have shown the presiding officer of their ballot paper BJP. The names of these MLAs are Bholabhai Gohil and Raghavji Patel. Congress general secretary and Gujarat in-charge Ashok Gehlot claimed that Ahmed Patel will get 45 votes. Gehlot claims that 43 Congress MLAs, one JDU and one NCP legislator voted for Ahmed Patel. Thus, his victory with 45 votes is certain. Congress believes that 8 MLAs, including Shankar Singh Vaghela, cross voting.
