Meeting of the Muslim Law Board on the issue of three divorces and Babri Masjid continued

After the Supreme Court’s three divorce judgments, the first meeting of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board is being held in Bhopal. Discussions on issues like three divorces and Babri Masjid are underway in the meeting. According to sources, on the issue of three divorces, the board will not take any action against the Supreme Court’s decision and will proceed with a progressive perspective.

 It is worth mentioning that after the judgment of the Supreme Court on three divorces, this meeting is being considered as important because people have different opinions on the board for the three divorces. Some people in the board believe that there is a problem related to the three divorced Shariah and the government or the court can not interfere in it.




Sunni, Shia, religious leaders and representative of Dawoodi Bohra society are coming from across the country to join this meeting. Apart from this, five women’s minors in the board will also hold opinions on three divorces and Babri Masjid issues.

Women’s Convention for the First Time

This is happening for the first time when the All India Muslim Personal Law Board has convened a women’s conference on three divorces and rules of Shariah. This conference will be held on Monday in which only women can join.

In the meeting, members of the Working Committee including Maulana Rabbi Hashmi Nadvi, Maulana Rabbi, Maulana Mohammad Wali Rehmani, Vice President Dr. Saeed Kalba Sadiq, Vice President Mohammad Salim Kasami, Secretary Zafaryab Jilani and MP Asaduddin Owaisi, Chairman of Muslim Personal Law Board.
