Leh / New Delhi: Security forces deployed on Indian border foiled efforts of Chinese troops to enter Indian territory along the famous Pangong Lake in Ladakh on Tuesday. After this the stones hit and people on both sides had minor injuries.

Officials said that the soldiers of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) twice tried to enter the two areas between Fifteen Four and Finger Five in the Indian border from 6 am to 9 pm, but on both occasions, the Indian troops Foiled the efforts. When Chinese soldiers found that Indian soldiers were standing in front of them, they started throwing stones, after which Indian soldiers responded promptly to stone pelting.

 




In this incident, people on both sides received minor injuries and after the rosemary ‘banner drill’ the situation was brought under control. Under the banner drill both sides show banners before going to their place.

A spokesman for Army in New Delhi refused to comment on the incident. This incident happened at a time when there was a standoff between the two countries in Dokalm in Sikkim sector. The Chinese soldiers were able to enter the Fing Four area from where they were sent back. This area has been the center of stalemate between the two countries because both of them call it a part of their area.
