Himachal Pradesh now reduced VAT on petrol and diesel after Gujarat, Maharashtra

After the Gujarat and Maharashtra, the Himachal Pradesh government has reduced value-added tax (VAT) by 1 percent on petrol and diesel, giving some relief to the price of petrol and diesel in the country. After the Cabinet meeting, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh said that the VAT on petrol and diesel has been reduced by one percent to provide relief to the people .




After the Cabinet meeting of Gujarat State Government, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani on Tuesday decided to cut the VAT of petrol and diesel in the state by 4 per cent VAT. After this, a similar news came from Maharashtra where the state government announced a reduction of Rs 2 and Rs 1 respectively in state VAT on petrol and diesel to cut petrol prices.
