Different state and national school examination boards to participate in BSEB program

Patna: Different state and national school examination boards will participate in a first-of-itskind conclave to be organised by the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) here on August 31.
BSEB chairman Anand Kishor on Thursday said examination boards of different states as well as the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the Council for Indian School Certificate for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) have been invited to attend the conclave.

“The main objective of the conclave is to give a common platform to all the state and national boards to discuss their future plans and examination reforms. Our motto is to strengthen the education system in the state and adopt the successful steps taken by other states,” he said.




The examination boards of 10 states – Andhra Pradesh,Maharashtra, Gujarat, UttarPradesh, West Bengal, Karnataka,Rajasthan, Odisha, Assam and Chhattisgarh – have already confirmed their participation in the event.
Meanwhile, the BSEB has also decided to provide computer literacy training to its employees. “Since we are in the process of shifting from manual to digital process, it is necessary for the employees to learn the new technology,” Kishor said.

The board will introduce a dress code for its employees from September 5. “The male employees will get sky blue shirt and navy blue pant and women staff navy blue salwar,dupatta and blouse as well as sky blue kameez and saree. In winter, female staff will have to wear blue cardigan and their male counterparts blue blazer and tie. The dress code will help distinguish between outsiders and the employees,” Kishor said.

“From September 15 onwards, entry of the common people at the office of Bihar Intermediate Council will be restricted,” said Kishor.
