bihar cabinet ministers reaction on red beacon ban

PATNA: The Prime Minister Narendra Modi government has banned red light from all types of government vehicles since May 1. With the decision of the Modi government, many ministers of the Bihar government have become unhappy. The reason for their anger is the loss of VIP status from them and their status decreased.
A team of ‘Aaj Tak’ reached the Bihar Secretariat to know the views of ministers on this issue. There was a meeting of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar cabinet here. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy Chief Minister Taskhish Yadav and Health Minister Sharad Pratap Yadav did not have a red light on the government vehicle. However, in addition to these three, there was a red light on the government vehicle of several ministers present in the cabinet.

During this, Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav said that he is already against the Lalbatti culture. Serving the public is an important task, not a VIP status.

The ministers who were remove red light on the government vehicle included product minister Abdul Jalil Mastan,Education Minister Ashok Chaudhary, Finance Minister Abdul Bari Siddiqui. Power Minister Bijendra Yadav, Rural Development Minister Shailesh Kumar, Water Resources Minister Lalan Singh are unhappy with this dicision.

Education Minister Ashok Chaudhary and Product Minister Abdul Jalil Mustan said removing the red light on his official vehicle before May 1. While Energy Minister Vijender Yadav and Rural Development Minister Shailesh Kumar are angry with the central government about this decision. Vijendra Yadav said that this decision of the central government is not bound to the state governments. On the other hand, when asked about the removal of red light from Water Resources Minister Lalon Singh, the people became so angry that without the answer to the question of the media, they went inside the secretariat.

There was also a vehicle for people like Finance Minister Abdul Bari Siddiqui, whose drivers removed the red light from the official car of Sahib when looking at the cameras of the media.
