In spite of not having Pakistan’s name in the list of countries for the trip to the U.S. President, the number of US visas approved by Pakistani nationals in the new trump administration has come down by 40 percent. While the visa issued for the Indian has increased.
The highlight of the new monthly official data is that the number of non-immigration American visas has increased by 28 percent compared to the monthly average in March and April this year. In response to the data released by the US State Department in the Pakistani media, it was said that the non-immigration visa granted to the Pakistanis has reduced by 40 percent compared to the monthly average of March and April this year.
Pakistanis have been issued 3,925 in April 2017 under the Trump administration and 3,973 visas were issued in March 2017. Last year, the Obama administration issued a total of 78,637 non-immigration visas to Pakistanis, with monthly average 6,553, which is 40 percent more than the present average.
Before March this year, the State Department did not release the visa information monthly and only the annual data was available. According to the figures, Indian nationals received 87,049 visas in April this year and 97,925 visas were approved in March this year. Last year, 72,082 non-immigration visas were approved for citizens of India every month.
