IPL 2017, Qualifier 2: Two-time winners Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders face to face in virtual semi-final

The second qualifier of IPL 10 will be played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. While the KKR team is excited after winning against the Sunrisers in Eliminator, the challenge of capturing the ‘track’ of victory again is to overcome Mumbai’s defeat against Pune and win again. The winning team in tomorrow’s match will face Rising Pune Superjoint on May 21 in Hyderabad. In the last match which was disrupted by rain, Kolkata would like to take revenge of Mumbai’s two losses in the league matches of the IPL, which, in the second qualifier, defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad.

    Mumbai Indians
This team is capable of achieving any goal, such as Kieron Pollard, Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya, and batsmen. Rohit Sharma is also in good form. Parthiv Patel is performing well behind the wicket, besides being responsible for the wicket. Jaspreet Bumrah and Lasith Malinga are unmatched in the matter of throwing bowls and yorkers in the Death Overs. In the spin bowling department Harbhajan Singh is a player like this. Mumbai has defeated Kolkata in both league matches of IPL 10. Rohit Sharma, the previous victory achieved in this, will work to increase the morale of the brigade.

The team has a lot of aggressive style batsmen. The team that runs out of them is in trouble. Similar situation came during the match against Pune, Malinga and Harbhajan’s performance in bowling have not been very good. In this way pressure on Jaspreet Bumrah is increased.

    Kolkata Knight Riders
Team captain Gautam Gambhir and Robin Uthappa are performing well. After recovering from injury, the return of Chris Lynn has given strength to the batting. Sunil Narine as a pinch-hitter has performed a boom. In bowling, Chinnaman Kuldeep Yadav, Umesh Yadav and Nathan Coulter Nayyll are continuously getting wickets for the team. Yusuf Pathan is a matter of concern for the weakest team in the form of a batsman and bowler. In batting, the team is very much dependent on captain Gambhir and Chris Lynn.
