Prior to the hearing in Kulbhushan Jadhav case, senior Indian diplomats also greeted the Pakistani delegation and greeted them. Deepak Mittal, who represented India on behalf of the case, offered to offer greetings by ignoring the proposal to join hands of Syed Faraj Hussein Zaidi, Counselor of the Pakistani Embassy in the Netherlands.
However, interestingly, he joined hands with some other people involved in the Pakistani delegation, including Pakistan’s attorney general, who lobbied on behalf of Pakistan. As well as joining hands, the offer of goodwill to India has definitely tried to cool the atmosphere.
It is noteworthy that last week a glimpse of bitter relations between the two countries was noticed when there was no talk between Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and his Pakistani counterpart during a program in Japan. After this, the case of vandalism with the Indian soldiers on behalf of Pakistan had created a gap between the two countries.
