Deepti Sharma and Poonam Raut of the Indian women’s cricket team added 320 runs for the first wicket against Ireland, making a new record for the biggest partnership for any wicket in the women’s ODI cricket. While 19-year-old Deepti Sharma made a new record by scoring 188 runs. It is by far the largest private ODI score of any Indian female player. Also, it is the second-biggest ODI innings at the international level so far. Deepti scored 188 runs in 160 balls, including 27 fours and two sixes.
Second highest individual score in Women’s ODI Cricket
This is the first time that an Indian woman batsman has crossed the 150-run mark. This is the second highest individual score in the overall women’s ODI. The record of the highest individual score in women’s ODI is named by Belinda Clarke of Australia, who scored an unbeaten 229 in the last match against Denmark in 1997. Prior to India, the record for the highest individual score was in the name of Jaya Sharma (unbeaten 138 runs) who had played this innings in Karachi in 2005 against Pakistan.
Record of largest partnership
Deepti and Poonam Raut (109) shared a 320-run partnership for the first wicket. This is the first time in the women’s ODI where the partnership of more than 300 runs has been played for any wicket. Earlier, the biggest partnership record for any wicket was 268 runs. England’s Sarah Taylor and Caroline Atkinson played this partnership for the first wicket in 2008 against South Africa against the Australians.

Indian women’s biggest score
India scored 358 runs on three wickets, which is also the highest score in ODIs. This is the first time that the Indian team crossed the 300-run mark.
