Virender Sehwag says – Dhoni becomes the big player due to Sourav Ganguly’s sacrifice

Team India’s most successful captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has recorded so many world records and he has millions of fans in the country and the world. But about MS Dhoni, explosive batsman Virender Sehwag has revealed secret. Sehwag said that Sourav Ganguly’s contribution to Dhoni’s career is most important today.

In a TV show held in the home town of former captain MS Dhoni, Sehwag said that while captain, Sourav Ganguly had made plans that the new players would be tried at number three. He said that Sourav Ganguly himself used to bat at number one but he left that place for me. In the same order in 2005, in the Vishakhapatan ODI , Sourav decided to send Dhoni to number three instead of batting.




While praising the captaincy of Sourav, Sehwag said that there are few such captains who give chance to any new batsman in their set place. Sehwag said, “If he does not do grandfather, maybe Dhoni does not make such a big player. He said that Dada always wanted new players to get the chance so that they could perform well.

Let us tell you that in the Vishakhapatan ODI match of April 5, Dhoni batted at number three against Pakistan and scored 148 runs and it is his second highest score. Earlier this year, Dhoni had played an unbeaten innings of 183 runs against Sri Lanka in Jaipur in October this year.
