Triple talaq verdict: Amit Shah said that this decision was a step towards new India.

The bench of five Supreme Court judges three divorces as unconstitutional. This decision of the bench has ended the practice of three divorce simultaneously. The court asked the government to make the law within 6 months. Bharatiya Janata Party President Amit Shah also welcomed the decision of the court. Shah issued the statement and said that the court’s decision is the beginning of a new era for Muslim women. Shah said that this decision was a step towards new India.

In his statement, Shah said that this decision is not a defeat or victory of anybody but rather a new beginning of the right to equality. Shah also praised his side in the court by the Modi government. He said that even in many Muslim countries, three divorces do not exist.

Maneka Gandhi also welcomed

Union women development and child welfare minister Maneka Gandhi said that the decision of the Supreme Court is a good step, for many years women were suffering from it. He said that no one would want that half of his people suffer. No religion and social system would want that half of their people suffer Maneka Gandhi said that the government will definitely make this law, soon there will be no problem in making the law. The Constitution has equal rights for all.

The Union minister said that this is a small step but a good step, we have to go a long way. He said that the prime minister should take major steps for the benefit of women. On opposing some people Maneka Gandhi says that the tradition is not the stone rack. As soon as the era changes, all will have to change.
