New Delhi: Famous actor Tom Alter passed away at his home in Agrapada, Mumbai on last night at 2 o’clock. He has been battling skin cancer for a long time. A few days ago, he was admitted to Saifee Hospital in Mumbai.

Tom, who is a well-known Hindi actress, has worked in more than 45 films. You may have remembered seeing his picture that he has been playing the role of foreign characters in Hindi cinema. He left his impression of his acting in memorable new and old films such as Aashiqui, bhega Fry and Gandhi.




Talking about Tom skin cancer, his son Jamie made public. Tom, who won the hearts of people with his best acting, was among those few who came from abroad in the early stages of India.

On TV, Alter’s leading work came in Junoon, Zabaan Sambhalke, Jugalbandi, Bharat EK Khoj, Ghutan, Shaktimaan, Captain Vyom, Mere Ghar Aana Zindagi and Yahaan Ke Hum Sikandar. Most recently, he was seen in a pivotal role in the ongoing serial Rishton Ka Chakravyuh on Star Plus. At the time of his death, Alter had approximately 16 unreleased films lined up as well as a web series by Eros Now titled Smoke.
