Australian fast bowler John Hastings has said goodbye to Test and ODI cricket at the age of 31. Hastings has announced retirement on Friday. Cricket Australia (CA) has given this information. Although he will continue to play the T20 International match for Australia.

Hastings said, “It is a tough decision, a decision that can not be taken lightly, but I have decided that I will draw distance from the longest format and focus on the T20.” Let’s say Hastings was the world’s top bowler in ODI cricket in 2016. He played 15 matches in 2016 and made 29 wickets.

Hastings debuted against South Africa in the Test in 2012. In ODIs he played his first match against India on October 20, 2010. Hastings has so far taken 7 wickets in nine T20 matches.
