UP: technical glitch in the Lucknow Metro on the first day, stop service for one hour

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh’s Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had just flagged the Lucknow Metro yesterday. From today the metro has been started for the general public. But on the very first day, the brake has been on the Metro. Due to technological malfunction today a metro got spoiled. The Metro is standing at Alambagh station for about one hour.




In this metro, many senior officials including LMRC MD are also traveling. Many more trains have also been delayed due to a this metro.

Lucknow people can enjoy the metro from 6 am to 10 pm. In the initial phase, the journey from the metro to the charbagh can be done from the metro. In this journey of 8.5 kilometers, up to 30 rupees will be paid. At the same time card facility has been started. These cards will be available at all stations of the Metro. The smart card will have to pay 200 rupees.

The Lucknow Metro project was started by the Akhilesh Yadav government in 2013. About 23 km in Lucknow, the Metro was designed to run from Lucknow airport to Munshipuliya area. In the meantime, Krishnanagar, Alambagh, Charbagh, Hazratganj, Indiragar are located.
