supreme Court has asked Unitech’s 16,299 flat buyers that they want flat or money

New Delhi: The Supreme Court has asked Unitech’s 16,299 flat buyers that they want flat or money? Investors have to speak on amicusunitech.in by October 23. The case is about the bail of Sanjay Chandra, MD of Unitech. Chandra is demanding interim bail. His lawyer Salman Khursheed argued that within six months of his release on bail, he will remove the complaints of every buyer.

Earlier, the court, which ruled out bail, said that he wants to secure the interest of the investors first. It will be decided only after the people’s response comes which type of debt is made on Chandra. On Thursday, the Supreme Court was told that Unitech had to give 23,931 flats in total 74 projects. Only 13 projects have been completed in this. Still, 16,299 buyers of 61 projects have not got flats.

The court, expressing anguish, said that it is necessary for people to get their right. We can also order Unitech’s property auction if necessary.
