Patna: RJD leader tejashwi Prasad Yadav today accused the income tax department of being partisan, saying that he never asked for details of rallies of BJP, which would be organized all over the country with huge expenditure.

In the Bihar Assembly, Leader of the Opposition tejashwi, talking to reporters here, asked how many Rallys did RJD in one year and in one year how many rallies in the BJP are equipped with high technologies throughout the country? Does the Income Tax Department have the courage to send him (BJP) notice to the details of the expenditure on these rallies?

He said that if the National Janata Dal (RJD) gets any notice from the income-tax department about the expenditure on the rally organized by the party here on August 27, then he will surely answer him.



tejashwi said that we are not afraid of such things because they can just frighten us. They do not have the strength to do it more.

He however did not confirm whether RJD had received any notice from the Income Tax Department regarding the rally. The RJD leader said that it may be that he got the party president.

senior officials of the Income Tax department refused to comment on the issue.
