Ram Rahim Rape Case: Dera supporters started vacating Dera Sacha Head Quarter in Sirsa

Sirsa: Before the convict Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh was convicted in the rape case, a large number of Dera supporters gathered at the headquarters of the Dera Sacha Sauda in Sirsa started going from here on Saturday. The police and administration are urging people to vacate the campus from the existing people inside the camp by making loud announcements through loudspeakers. Sirsa Deputy Superintendent of Police Dilip Singh said, “Dera supporters are leaving the headquarter in small groups. We hope that it will be evacuated in a peaceful manner. ”

Special CBI court in Panchkula blamed Dera chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim on Friday for rape case. Haryana DGP BS Sandhu said that the number of people killed in Panchkula and Sirsa increased to 36.

Dera headquarters spread over 1000 acres

Army personnel barricaded the entrance centers of the campus with police and paramilitary forces. According to estimates, one lakh people, including women and children, are present in the Dera Headquarters. Dera campus spread over 1000 acres of land and Dera has its own city, school, sports village, hospital and cinema hall.

In addition to the local police, 10 companies of Army and 10 companies of semi-military forces have been deployed. The police have asked local people to stay within the houses. Police said that 15 dera supporters have been arrested since Friday night.
