Rajiv Maharishi will be the next CAG of the country, Sunil Arora became the Election Commissioner

Rajiv Maharishi, former Home Secretary and Chief Secretary of Rajasthan will be the Comptroller and Auditor General of India. The central government has made some more appointments with Maharishi. In this regard, the decision was taken on Thursday evening.

Rajiv Maharishi will replace the current CAG chief Shashikant Sharma. Besides, Ranjan Kumar Ghosh has been appointed as the Deputy Inspector General and Comptroller General. Sunil Arora has been appointed the Election Commissioner. Rajiv Maharishi’s tenure ends on Thursday. Rajiv Guba will replace him in the Ministry of Home Affairs.



Senior bureaucrat Rajiv Kumar has been appointed Secretary Department of Financial Services of Ministry of Finance. In this order of reshuffle in the bureaucracy, the government has appointed Anita Karwal as the chairperson of CBSE, Central Board of Secondary Education.
