New Delhi: Former railway minister Lalu Yadav has made a big statement about the train accident in Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh. RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav today surrounded railway minister Suresh Prabhu on the Muzaffarnagar incident. He has said how people can travel by railways when there is no guarantee of safety. Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu should resign from his post. Tell that from 2004 to 2009 Lalu Yadav has been the Union Railway Minister.

Kalinga-Utkal Express crashed near Khatauli in Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh. 14 cartons of the train derailed. According to the statistics, 23 passengers died in the accident while the number of injured was more than 80.




At the same time, Lalu Yadav’s son and former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, tejashwi Yadav expressed condolences to the injured and died people and his family.

Uttar Pradesh’s Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced financial assistance of Rs.2 lakh to the dependents of the dead persons in a train accident in Muzaffarnagar. Simultaneously, CM Yogi also announced financial assistance worth Rs 50,000 each to the injured. At the same time Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu has announced to give Rs 3.5 lakh to the relatives of the deceased and Rs 50,000 as compensation to the seriously injured.

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has announced compensation of Rs 5 lakh for the family of every person killed in the incident. CM Patnaik expressed grief over the incident and also announced financial support for fifty thousand rupees for every injured person.
