PSLV-C38 launches today, will launch 29 Nano satellites from 14 countries

After the success of GSLV Mk-3, ISRO is moving towards another major step. ISRO will launch 31 satellites on Friday, including foreign nano satellites. This PSLV will fly from ISRO’s launch pad Sriharikota. The countdown began on Thursday from Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh.

In this sequence, along with this satellite of 7/12 kg cartosat-2 series, which are being projected for Earth observation, 30 other co-satellites weighing 243 kilograms will also be projected simultaneously. This satellite will start flying at 505 kilometers in the morning for 9.20 am to reach the polar sun static class (SSO). The total weight of these all satellites being sent with PSLV-C38 is about 955 kilograms.

Nano satellites included in many countries
These satellites are being sent in addition to India, 29 Nano satellites from 14 countries, including Austria, Belgium, Chile, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia, UK and USA. PSLV-C38 will be launched from the first launch pad of Satish Dhawan Space Center.

The space agency said that 29 International Consumer Nano Satellites are being launched under Entrepreneurs Corporation Limited: Antrix:, Business Branch of ISRO and commercial arrangements between international customers. ISRO Chairman AS Kiran Kumar said that all the activities are going on for launch. He congratulated on the completion of 1000 days of the Mars Þ Þ Campaign on June 19.
