PM Narendra modi Modi, Shinzo Abe to lay foundation stone of bullet train on Thursday

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is reaching Gujarat on Wednesday, September 14. PM Modi’s visit is considered to be important in many ways. Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe along with the Prime Minister will also be present in this tour. In the presence of both Prime Ministers, the foundation of the bullet train project will be laid. This bullet train project, which runs from Mumbai to Ahmedabad, has been targeted to be completed by 2022.

For the welcome of Prime Minister Modi and Shinzo Abe, Gujarat’s big city Ahmedabad has been decorated like a bride. Prime Minister Modi will arrive in the afternoon at midday and Japanese PM Shinzo Abe will reach Ahmedabad at three o’clock in the afternoon. If the sources were to be believed both the Prime Minister would go from the airport to the Sabarmati Ashram while doing road shows. Preparations on this seven kilometer route are also being done in a similar fashion.




The completion deadline of December 2023 may be brought forward to August 2022 when the country celebrates 75 years of independence.

The train will stop at each of the 12 railway stations on the route, but only for 165 seconds. A 21-km-long tunnel will be dug between Boisar and Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai, of which seven kilometers will be under water.

For the project Japan will give India a loan of 0.1 percent to 88,000 crore. This project is being viewed as Prime Minister Modi’s 15 year old dream.
