PM Modi Pays Tribute at Bahadur Shah Zafar’s Tomb in Yangon, Myanmar, Afer visit take-off for new delhi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi visit to the mazar of Badshah Bahadur Shah Zafar on the last day of his visit to Myanmar on Thursday. PM also offered flowers on the mazar and sprinkled the perfume on mazar . Earlier, offered prayers at the Kali temple.

Modi visited the Shwegagon Pagoda of Yangon. PM Modi has takeoff for Delhi after visiting Mazar.
During his visit to Myanmar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at Schwegagon Pegoda on Thursday. Here he planted a Bodhi tree. Here he met the people of the Indian community.
Former prime minister Manmohan Singh also went to the dargah of Bahadur Shah Zafar in 2012.
The last Mughal emperor, Bahadur Shah Zafar, was killed in 1862 in a jail of Rangoon (now Yangon) in the then capital of Burma (now Myanmar), but his dargah was built in 1994 after 132 years.
