Patna: The election of Patna municipal corporation has started from 7 am on Sunday. The process of voting will run till 5 pm in the elections. The corporation is being elected from five years 2017 to 2022. The winning representative will be the ward councilor in the municipal corporation by 2022. This time, a total of 1512 polling stations have been set up in 75 wards. Of these 816 polling booths have been declared highly sensitive and 696 centers have been declared sensitive.

This time, a total of 168,017 voters will decide the fate of the total 1008 candidates by joining all the wards. There are 8,83,468 male voters and 7,81,549 female voters. At the same time, a total of ten thousand police personnel have been deployed on duty to complete the election process peacefully.
