No last date to add aadhar card from PAN card: Arun Jaitley

New Delhi: Now you do not need to hurry to add the aadhar card to the pan card . The government today made it clear that no time limit has been fixed for linking the aadhar card with PAN card . That is, you do not have to fear from the last date till August 31. The news has been shown in newspapers, web portals and TVs for a long time, and the last date for linking PAN card is with aadhar card on the date 31 August. Now it is a relief for you that you do not have just 20 days to link your pans with aadhar card.

Ram Charan Nishad in the Lok Sabha today questioned whether the government has set a deadline for connecting the aadhar with Pan? In his written reply, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said, “, no.” During the Question Hour in the House, when Baiyyyant Panda cited the need to add the aadhar to the pan, it also suggested for biometric system for registration of companies. Then the finance minister agreed on this. Jaitley said that the Hon’ble Member has given a good suggestion and it can be considered.

However, it should not even mean that you are comfortable and do not try to link the pan and the aadhar. As we have already told you before, if your aadhar card and PAN card are not linked, then the income-tax returns you have filled will not be annexed. The Income Tax Department has started an online system to fix the mistakes and other details in the Permanent Account Number (PAN) and the names in the base. The Income Tax Department has also introduced two separate hyperlinks with the facility of adding biometric identification base and PAN to its e-filing website. These are related to changes in existing PAN data and application for new PAN by Indian or foreign nationals.
