Modi has created a conspiracy to oust Advani from the presidential race: Lalu

PATNA:In the case of demolition of the Babri Masjid in Ayodhya 25 years ago, the Supreme Court has ordered the trial of 13 other people including senior BJP leader LK Advani. Rashtra Janta Dal supremo Lalu Prasad said after prosecuting Advani, that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has created a political conspiracy against Advani so that he is out of the presidential race.

What did Lalu say on Advani?

It is worth mentioning that President Pranab Mukherjee’s tenure is due to be completed in the month of July this year and the name of LK Advani is also a matter of discussion about the new President. Lalu said that only Prime Minister Modi planned to sue Advani against him in the Babri Masjid demolition case.

Lalu alleged that the CBI, which is under the Central Government, deliberately presented evidence against Advani in the Supreme Court so that a lawsuit can be initiated against him in this case.

Lalu said that when 2002 riots took place in Gujarat, then then Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee had advised the then Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi to follow the rule of religion, but Advani had defended Narendra Modi at that time. And came in support of them. Lalu said that LK Advani has played a major role in the political uplift of Narendra Modi but now Modi rigged him out of the presidential race under political conspiracy.

However, Laloo Yadav, silent about the demand of the resignation of these people, the other BJP leaders like Union Minister Uma Bharti, Rajasthan’s governor Kalyan Singh, against which the Supreme Court has ordered to file a lawsuit. Lalu said that Uma Bharti or Kalyan Singh should decide whether to resign or not.
