Mexico earthquake: Magnitude-8.0 quake strikes of country’s southern coast,Tsunami Alert has been issued

Tsunami Warning has been issued after a powerful earthquake in Mexico, located in the continent of the america. According to the USGS earthquake tremors were felt in southern Mexico. Its intensity 8.0 has been recorded. Due to the earthquake, two people have died so far.

Tsunami alert has also been issued after the earthquake. After the earthquake shocks in southwestern Mexico, Tsunami Alert has been issued in 8 countries surrounding the coast of Mexico. These countries are – Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Panama, Honduras and Ecuador.





The American Geological Survey said that the intensity of earthquake was 8.0 and its center was located 165 kilometers west of Tapchula in the South Chiapas state. The depth of the earthquake was 35 kilometers below ground.

Earthquake shocks were felt in Mexico City, so the fear some people gathered on the streets in the night, they feared that the buildings would collapse.

 First Harvey is followed by the ‘Irma’ storm afterwards. Due to the Irma storm, nearly ’95 percent ‘of Caribbean islands have been destroyed. It is said that  Irma storm is the biggest storm of the century.
