PM Modi-Jinping meeting end, endorsement on maintaining peace on the border
Bilateral talks have begun between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping, apart from the BRICS summit. This is the first time since the doklam controversy that there is a bilateral dialogue between the two leaders. It is being said that there will be no debate on the doklma dispute in this meeting. Because Dokalam has settled the dispute, due to this the issue will not be discussed.

It has been informed by the Ministry of External Affairs that it has been agreed to maintain peace on the border between the two countries. At the same time, both countries have agreed that if there is a difference between the two countries in the future, then they should not be allowed to make a dispute.
Foreign Secretary S. Jaishankar also said that there was no talk of terrorism between the two countries.
