Increase the limit of contractual allocation for reserved category from 1.5 million to 50 lakh: Nitish Kumar

Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today flagged off the Gandhi Maidan in Patna and addressed the statemen. During this time, he made many big announcements for the state. This speech of the Chief Minister outlines the future functioning and plans of Bihar government. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that scheduled caste, tribe, upper back and minority post matric scholarship will be implemented as before. He said that the expansion of Chief Minister’s Minority Student Incentive Scheme will be given to the students of the first class in Fokania and Maulvi of Madrasa Education Board from this year and the benefit of merit will be given.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that for the academic improvement of madarsas accredited by the Bihar State Madrassa Board, there will be basic facilities like state class funding, class rooms, library, auditorium, skill development center, coaching center etc. for academic improvement.

 




Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that minority residential schools will be constructed in the districts. The budget of the Chief Minister’s Minority Employment Loan Scheme will be increased to Rs 100 crore per year. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that the assistance amount will be increased from 10 thousand to 25 thousand rupees in the Chief Minister’s Minority Reverse Female Financial Assistance Scheme. He said that special plan will be launched for the welfare of Dhunia, Rangrej, tailor group.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that in view of the special needs of Divyanjangan, a separate Directorate will be made in the Department of Social Welfare. The State Government has made provision for reservations for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Castes, Backward and Backward Classes for schemes up to Rs. 15 lakhs in contractual work in various work departments. He said that this limit will be increased from Rs 15 lakh to Rs 50 lakh and women of reserved category will get 35 percent reservation benefits.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that tourism sites without connectivity will be added under the Chief Minister’s Tourism Scheme by the Rural Works Department. He said that all scraped wires will be replaced by state fund for improving the power sector. He announced that Solar Power Plant will be set up in Kajra and Pirpanti.
