High Court has upheld the life imprisonment to Bahubali RJD leader and former MP Mohammad Shahabuddin in siwan acidic case.

Patna: The Patna High Court has given its verdict on Wednesday in Bihar’s most popular Siwan Tejab Kaand. The High Court has upheld the life imprisonment to Bahubali RJD leader and former MP Mohammad Shahabuddin to Siwan by the trial court in this case. It is known that Siwan Bahubali RJD leader and former MP Mohammad Shahabuddin is currently lodged in Tihar Jail of Delhi in this case. Mo. Shahabuddin was sentenced to life imprisonment by the lower court. Challenging this decision Shahabuddin’s lawyer had filed a petition in this regard in the Patna High Court.




Earlier, the Patna High Court had reserved the verdict on June 30, 2017, while hearing the case. It is known that in this acidic case, the judge of Sivan, Special Court, had pronounced the sentence on December 11, 2015. In this heinous massacre of the court, Shahabuddin along with Rajkumar Sah, Munna Mian and Sheikh Aslam were also sentenced to life imprisonment. After which Shahabuddin’s side had filed an appeal against this punishment in the Patna High Court.
