Facebook F8:Virtual Reality Camera with 24 lenses introduced in Facebook F8

new delhi: Facebook F8 is the two-day annual developer conference of the social media website Facebook. On the last day, the company has introduced a special type of camera. Even before this, the company had introduced Virtual Reality Camera.

This time a new video camera has been announced which is specially designed to record 360 degree videos. Such videos are mostly made for virtual reality headset.

Like the shape ball of Facebook’s new camera, there are 24 lenses. There is also a small version that will have 6 lenses. Earlier, during the developer conference in 2016, Facebook launched a UFO-like camera, which was the company’s first offering.

Last time, Facebook had placed its camera open source, i.e. its blue print was made free. Developers can create such a camera with its blue print. But this time the company is not ready to free it, but it can make the camera itself.

What is special in this cemra.
Through this camera system, virtual experiences such as concerts, music, or other places will be used to roam around some popular places. Even if you are alone, then it is for you or you are in someone else’s side. For this, you will need a headset which can track your position.

Is this camera for common users?
This is not a common camera but a virtual reality camera and it will not sell Facebook directly to users. In the current round, the concept of virtual reality headset is new and people do not buy VR headset because they do not have special content to look into.

In such a way, if Facebook gives film makers such cameras, then perhaps they may show interest in it and in future the earnings of Facebook will be increased.

Extra visual elements can be added to these new camera recorded videos. The new camera shoots in 6 degrees i.e. while watching videos recorded through it, you can move yourself back in a scene. Not only can the left right go up but also down. This will help to make the virtual world real.

Facebook has said that it expects that by the end of this year, it will be available through partners. Although the company has not said that its price will be, but it is obviously it is for professional then it will be expensive.
