Bihar Police will soon be appoint 3409 soldiers

Patna: In Bihar police, soon the appointment process of 3409 soldiers will be started. State Police Headquarters has created a total of 3409 new posts of different categories in the ratio of population to strengthen Bihar Police. All these posts will be for different units of District and Bihar Police. Of them 1304 general soldiers and the remaining 2105 posts will be of armed soldiers.
DGP PK Thakur has given his consent to the proposal of 3409 sepoy’s newly created posts. State Police Headquarters will shortly appoint their newly constituted Central Separation Recruitment Board for the appointment of these newly created 3409 soldiers.
Official sources of the police headquarters said that in the year 2013, the Home Department has decided to bring the number of police personnel in Bihar to the national average in the next five years by issuing the resolution. 35% posts of newly created soldiers in 3409 posts will be reserved for women sepoys.
The new posts of 3409 soldiers have been created for all the district police forces along with the state crime recording bureau in addition to STF, CID, BMP, Sep Training School, Nathnagar, DG (Training) Office, Railway Police.
In the District Armed Police Force, the highest posts are made for 226 posts Motihari, 156 posts Betiya, 100 posts Aurangabad, 100 posts Bhojpur, 166 posts Rohtas and 88 Begusarai and 107 posts for Samastipur. While 72 new posts have been created for STF. Similarly, 150 posts have been created in Patna in general sepoys category.
