Another blow to SP, Azam’s close MLC Sarojini Agarwal resigns

New Delhi: Samajwadi Party, which is struggling with domestic violence, is not taking the name of the party’s problems to reduce. After the defeat in the assembly elections, a major setback was seen in the party recently when two MLC bukkal Nawab and Yashwant Singh took join of the BJP. Now on Friday, the SP is considered a another blow, when  MLC Sarojini Agarwal of the party resign from party and join bjp.

MLC Sarojini Agarwal from Meerut has joined BJP on Friday. Sarojini is considered close to Azam Khan, the SP leader. In the presence of minister Rita Bahuguna Joshi in the Yogi Government, the MLC took join the BJP on Friday. On this occasion, Minister of State Mahendra Singh was also present with him.

Sarojini Agarwal announced to join the BJP in front of the media. Earlier, he submitted his resignation to the Chairman of the Legislative Council Ramesh Yadav. Significantly before that
Buckal Nawab and Yashwant Singh resigned from the SP before the BJP president Amit Shah’s Lucknow tour on July 29. However, he had announced to join the BJP later on.

The biggest reason behind this change is being said that the BJP in power in the province has to send many faces of its cabinet to the Legislative Council. This episode includes the names of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, two deputy CM Dinesh Chandra Sharma and Keshav Prasad Maurya besides Mohsin Raza and independent Dev Singh. Being a member of the Cabinet, they must be a member of a house, which is not the case now.

Till now, the resignation of one of the three MLCs and one of the BSP is being added in this link. There is also a discussion that Dr. Himani Agarwal, daughter of Sarojini Agarwal, has also resigned as the Secretary of SP Yuvajan Sabha.
