After being convicted in after 15 years in the rape case, the goons of rapist Baba Ram Rahim had furiously stirred up a furore. In the violence in Haryana and Punjab, so far 31 people have died, while more than 250 are injured. The 29 dead are from Panchkula and 2 are from Sirsa. Meanwhile, the army has entered the campus at Sirsa headquarters in Dera.

The government suspended the DCP due to he failed to implement Section 144 correctly. In the fear of violence, 445 trains going to Punjab and Haryana have been canceled. Meanwhile, the army conducted a flag march in Sirsa on Saturday morning. In the meantime, peace is slowly returning to the violence-hit areas.
