India will boycott the meeting of OBOR, said – project violating sovereignty is not accepted,

India will boycott India’s Belt and Road Forum (BRF) Conference starting on Sunday in Beijing, the capital of China’s highly ambitious project ‘One Belt One Road’. An official statement released late last night, India has clearly stated that it can not accept any such project which violates sovereignty and territorial integrity.

A few hours before the Forum meeting in the capital of China, India has said in a strong word statement that the contact initiative should be such that respect for sovereignty and regional integrity. Foreign Ministry spokesman Gopal Bagale said in a statement, “In the matter, guided by our theoretical point of view, we urge China to participate in useful talks on the One Belt One Road, its contact initiative, which was later named Belt and Road. . We are looking forward to a positive response from China.

Bagley said the international community is well aware of India’s stand on the alleged China-Pakistan economic corridor being offered as a significant project of BRI-OBOR. No country can accept a project that squeezes its basic concerns on sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Explain that India’s deepest objection is on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). In fact, CPEC passes through Gilgit and Baltistan of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK). India, including the PoK, considers the entire Jammu state as its integral part. CPEC is a key project of the China-specific Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and is likely to rise from the prominence of this project in a two-day meeting in Beijing, capital.

Significantly, in the BRF conference going to be held in Beijing, 29 nations and government heads will participate. These include Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Russian President Vladimir Putin, while many other countries including South Korea, France, Germany and Britain have appointed ministerial or official delegation to attend this conference. This is the result of heavy diplomatic lobbying by China, but other countries than India have no objection to sovereignty with the initiative of One Belt, One Road.

Looking at the importance of CPEC in the plan, it is expected that Pakistan’s Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will play a major role in highlighting the importance of the game changer for this country. At present, there is only such a project, which is likely to yield results soon. He is probably leading the biggest delegation, which has four Chief Ministers and five Union Ministers. China-Pakistan Friendship Association president Sha Zukang told the official media that China has promised to invest $ 46 billion for various projects related to energy and infrastructure in Pakistan.
