On information about the incident, SP Vinay Kumar, SDPO, Sadar Sanjay Kumar Jha and Police Station reached the city court.
On this case, SP Vinay Kumar of Betiya said that Babbu Dubey was a notorious criminal. Police are raiding the search of the attackers by blocking the entire district.

He told that the amount of ransom was sent to Kathmandu via Hawala to Mumbai. This money was sent to two consignments of five-five crore rupees.

In 2013, Bablu Dubey was arrested with the help of Nepal Police. At that time there was a reward of 50 thousand on him. Nitish Kumar had fled to Nepal as soon as he became the government. On May 28, 2013, Nepal Police arrested him on the special request of Bihar Police from Kathmandu.
As soon as the news came to Bihar Police, he got the news to Bihar Police, he reached Nepal to take Bablu. But the Nepal Police handed him over to the Raxaul police on June 4 a week later. Since then he was locked in jail.
