After the news of the wine drinking the rat, the administration destroyed 10 thousand liters of foreign liquor.The Thanadars had told Patna’s SSP Manu Maharaj that the liquor kept in the mills is getting reduced due to this because the mice are drinking it. After this Manu Maharaj instructed all the police station to arrange to save millions of liters of liquor kept in the mills, as soon as possible, or destroy the consignment of liquor.
After the same instruction from SSP, today Patna district collector Sanjay Aggarwal led 20, km of Patna, 10 thousand liter liquor was destroyed in Danapur area. The officials of the product and police department had recovered this consignment of Haryana brand liquor from Fatuha in October including the truck.
District Magistrate Sanjay Agrawal said that liquor bottles which have been seized in the police stations also will be destroyed in the coming days. Alcohol prohibition has been imposed in Bihar for the last one year but despite this, seizure of thousands of liters of foreign liquor is being seized from different parts of the state every day.
