Noorani threat case: Non-bailable warrant against Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt

MUMBAI:A Mumbai court has issued non-bailable warrant against Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt. This warrant has been issued in the matter of threatening Shakeel Noorani. Four years ago, the court had issued a warrant against Sanjay.

Actually, this matter is 15 years old. In the year 2002, Shakeel Noorani was making a film called ‘Jaan Ki Baaji’. He signed the film for actor Sanjay Dutt by giving him fifty lakh rupees. The film was going on shooting. It was all right but suddenly Sanjay left the film in the middle.

Due to the release of Sanjay Dutt, producer Shakeel Noorani suffered a huge loss of around Rs 5 crore. Noorani was quite upset about this. It was alleged that after Shakeel Noorani had contacted Sanjay Dutt, Sanjay had threatened to kill him.

Noorani’s allegation is that Sanjay also threatened him from the underworld. Seeing Sanjay’s behavior, Noorani took the law. And had filed a lawsuit against them. In the year 2013, the Andheri Metropolitan Court issued warrants against actor Sanjay Dutt.

Since then, this case is going on in court. Now the court summoned Sanjay Dutt on Saturday in this case. But Sanjay did not come to the muscle on the court. Disgusted by this, the Andheri Metropolitan Court has once again issued an non-bailable warrant against them.

However, till date, there has been no response from actor Sanjay Dutt on this issue. It is worth mentioning that Sanjay Dutt is busy shooting for his short film land these days.

Meanwhile, Shukil Noorani’s lawyer Neeraj Gupta said, according to him, this is a bailable warrant. He said, “Getting threat of death from underworld is a very serious matter. The case is going to be heard in the High Court and if the underworld is being resorted to take the case back then it is a very serious crime. On Monday, we will take a copy of the warrant from the court. Meanwhile, if Sanjay Dutt comes for warrant cancellation in court, then we will strongly oppose this. “
