Patna: Gandhian and Mahatma Gandhi’s grandson Rajmohan Gandhi said in a two-day national discussion organized on Tuesday at the conclusion of the Champaran Satyagrah Centenary celebrations, that Champaran showed the power of ‘no’ to the world. Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi was told in Champaran that go back from Bihar but he said that I do not want to go.
Rajamohan told that the news of his ‘no’ when he reached Vellabh Bhai Patel, a powerful advocate of those days in Ahmedabad, he stood up from his chair and said that such a person would be able to do anything. Said that the word ‘n’ is very precious. It has to be used thinking and thinking.
When the Lakshman crosses the line, then say ‘no’. At the time of Champaran Satyagraha, the English government crossed the Lakshman line in Bihar. A barrister Mohandas Karamchand came to Gandhi and everyone listened to him.
Shri Gandhi said that we have to believe in our thoughts. Good Hindu is one who understands the suffering of Muslims. Vaishnava people should say so … Devotees can defeat the 10 million false propaganda of social media.
He said that what we can hear about each other is not what can happen. If Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi does not listen to Rajkumar Shukla, Champaran is not Satyagraha. It was a privilege of Gandhi that he came to Bihar and had a relationship with Biharis. If such people do not meet, then Gandhi is not Gandhi. India has to make a family again. Those who spread hatred have to beat them.
