TDSAT hearing on Jio free service stop till April 20, companies filed complaint against TRAI

Telecommunication Dispute Settlement Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) has postponed the hearing on the matter, under which TRAI has appealed to challenge the decision to allow free 4G service offers. Bharti Airtel and Idea Cellular filed a petition against Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) decision. Hearing was heard on Monday

    Geo started the initial free voice and data plan in September last year. In December these free offers were extended till March 2017. After this, Airtel and Idea had challenged TRAI’s decision to continue the free offer issued in TDSAT for the next 90 days of Mukesh Ambani Company. On January 31, according to the guidelines, TRAI complimented Geo’s free voice and data plan.
