17 killed, 30 injured in powerful bomb blast in Quetta city of Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Bomb explosions were targeted at a vehicle of security forces in Quetta city of Pakistan. At least 17 people were killed and about 30 were injured in this blast.

The explosion was so powerful that its voice was heard far and wide. After the explosion, a fierce fire broke out, causing some vehicles and auto rickshaws to be damaged. This high-intensity bomb explosion occurred in a parking near the Pisin bus stop in the high security area of Quetta City.

 




Balochistan Home Minister Mir Sarfraj Bugti told the media that the explosion was done by targeting a truck of the Frontier Corps. Sarfaraz Bugti said, “The bomb disposal arm had reached the spot. But it has not been confirmed yet that it was a suicide attack or a bomb had been carried out for the blast.”

About 30 people were sent to the government hospital for treatment, in which six to seven people were in critical condition. Along with this, he confirmed the death of 10 people whose bodies were taken to the hospital mortuary.

Apart from this, several TV channels reported that nearly 17 bodies were brought to the hospital and most of them were burnt. Geo News reported in the news that at least 17 people were killed in an explosion near the Pishin bus stop in Quetta.

According to an official of the Trust in Quetta, about 15 bodies were taken to the hospital, where the number of dead could increase. The capital of Baluchistan province is still quite disturbed, where terrorists and separatists have done many attacks recently.
