Bihar:RJD MLA Surendra Yadav firing case, 5 members of Nawada gang arrested

Patna: Police have arrested five accused in connection with the firing and robbery attempt on the vehicle of Belaganj MLA Surendra Yadav of Gaya district of Bihar. According to information, the STF team arrested five gang members on Saturday. All the members of the gang are being told Nawada. Police have recovered a knife with two pistols and several live cartridges from the arrested accused. It may be known that before the firing and robbery case of Surendra Yadav, the Belanganj police station in-charge Sikander Paswan was suspended.

In April this year, Surendra Yadav was going to Belaganj in his area to attend a wedding ceremony. On the way some criminal elements cut down trees and stopped their way. Seeing the way obstructed, when the MLA stopped the car, the criminals fired and attacked the MLA. The incident happened in the Terti village of Belaganj in the assembly constituency. After that he was under investigation.
