Geneva: A report of the United Nations Human Rights Office says that the attacks against Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar point out to the strategy of generating a large-scale fear of the people in Myanmar. This report, released on Wednesday, has been prepared on the basis of 65 interviews conducted with individuals and groups in mid-September.
After a militant attack in Myanmar in August, due to the campaign launched by the army, more than five lakh Rohingyas have been rushed to Bangladesh. United Nations human rights chief Jed Rad al-Hussein said that the Myanmar government’s conspiracy to forcibly refuse to give rights to Rohingya people is to see the conspiracy to force them out of here.
It has been said in the report that attempts have been made to eliminate their markers in the geographical area of Rohingya people and target teachers, cultural and religious leaders.
