Arunachal Pradesh: Air Force’s MI17 crash near China border, 7 army person killed

    The Indian Air Force helicopter has crashed due to technological malfunction. This incident happened 12km away from China border in Arunachal Pradesh. MI17 V5 crashed. 7 people killed after helicopter crashed.A court of IAF has been ordered to investigate the accident.Of the dead, five members belong to the Air Force, while two are members of the army.

    The Air Force has left the team for relief work on the spot. This incident happened in Khirmu area near Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh. The helicopter was carrying luggage maintenance equipment for the army. The incident happened at around 6 in the morning.



    Air Chief expressed concern

    Air Chief Marshal BS Dhanoa said in a press conference on Thursday that it is a matter of great concern that the death of the soldiers in the times of peace is also very worrying. We are taking necessary steps to reduce the Accident. He said that we have fewer fighter now, but we are capable of completing any kind of task.
