Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the capital of Bihar next month. During the tour of Patna, Modi will lay the foundation for several big projects on the cleaning of Ganga.
On this tour, Modi will lay the foundation of 8 projects clearing contaminated water falling in the Ganges from Patna and surrounding areas, under the Namami Ganga project. At the same time, Modi will take report of many development works.During this, Modi will start about 180 km of sewerage system and sewer network which will be constructed at a cost of about Rs 78 crore in Beur in Patna and cost at around Rs 398 crore.
After starting the project in Beur, the foundation stone of Sewage Treatment Plant, constructed at a cost of Rs 73 crores in Karmali Chak in Patna, will be done.
Modi will visit several places in Patna and will inspire many projects, in which a STP project costing Rs 188 crore worth of Saidpur and 55-kilometer sewer network is included. During this, Modi will also take information of riverfront development in Ganga along with the cost of about 255 crore rupees, under which work is underway to develop 20 Ganga Ghats of Patna.
