islamabad: The Indian Army’s action against the Pakistan to destroy the terrorists’ bunkers across the border in Nowshera sector in Kashmir has led to reactions pouring in from across the border.
Reacting to the development, Pakistan’s High Commissioner in New Delhi Abdul Basit said on Tuesday rejected Indian army’s claim of attack on Pakistani Army posts in Naushera sector of Jammu and Kashmir that was allegedly giving support to infiltrators.
“There’s no such report from Pakistan government yet, hence no need to brag about the issue. Both the countries need to resolve the issue peacefully,” Basit said while speaking to CNN-News18.
Earlier today, the Indian Army formally revealed that it has destroyed Pakistani Army posts in J&K’s Naushera sector.
Army spokesperson Major Gen Ashok Narula announced, “The Pakistan Army has been providing support to armed infiltrators…In recent actions in Naushera (border sector of Rajouri district), we have caused damage to Pakistan army posts.”
Asked when the attacks took place, Narula said it was “recent, very recent” operation.
The Indian Army also released a video showing punitive artillery assault on a Pakistan Army post. The video showed what looked like a forested area being bombed and smoke and fire billowing up after the explosion.
Meanwhile, the targeted attack is being seen as India’s reply to Pakistan for aiding and abetting infiltrators to cross over to the Indian side.
