New Delhi: Minister for Food and Consumer Affairs Ramvilas Paswan has been given additional charge of agriculture department Radha Mohan Singh, due to his heart-related illness to London, according to a press release issued by Rashtrapati Bhavan, President Pranab Mukherjee directed Given that Paswan has been given the status of a minister without portfolio. This status will be for as long as he is ill or he does not take charge as a minister of consumer, food and civil supplies affairs.
President Pranab Mukherjee has given the appointment of Paswan’s Department to the Agriculture Minister. The official said that 70-year-old Paswan will stay in London for the treatment of cardiovascular disease till June 14.
